Mariela Mejia

Mariela is the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Sabal Construction and Roofing, LLC. In this role, Mariela ensures that every potential customer and current customer experiences world class customer service. She is the friendly voice that you will hear two or three days after receiving an estimate from us. She will make sure that you receive the estimate on a timely basis, that everything that was discussed during the initial meeting with one of our sales representative was properly included in the estimate, and she will address any questions you may have; including scheduling your job and financing options. Mariela is the only employee who works remotely. She resides in MS with her family; she lived in Fort Myers for many years.

Mariela has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising with a minor in Spanish from Florida Gulf Coast University, and she earned a Master’s in Modern Languages at the University of Mississippi. Mariela brings over 10 years in customer service experience. She initiated her career right after college as a Sales Representative for a major textile company in MS where she was in charge of developing and maintaining customer relationships in South America. She cares for every customer and believes every customer deserves to be heard and be taken care of in the best way possible.

Additionally, one of Mariela’s passions is to help others. She started a free English as a Second Language (ESL) program sponsored by her church for people who can’t afford to attend college classes. This program has been successful for several years now, and many people of her community in MS have been positively impacted by her initiative. 

In her free time, Mariela enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys.
